What started as a laid back trio of acoustic pop has grown into a six piece high energy band that mixes up genre styling from rock and blues to country and folk. Rose n’ Thorns covers the music of their generation (baby boomers) with a special blend of humor and enthusiasm that even excites those who can’t name the four Beatles!

Working from a simple love for music, the members of Rose n’ Thorns have expanded their song list to include a range of artists so varied that no one listening to a set can go away unsatisfied. All members have come to the group from backgrounds so diverse that it is impossible to fit Rose n’ Thorns into a single style. Whether it’s the soul needed for a Lucinda Williams ballad or the throaty wailings to pull off Neil Young, someone in RNT rises to the challenge. In addition to over a hundred “cover” songs, the group has produced many originals that are now as readily requested as the old standards.

Rose n’ Thorns is currently in the studio producing an expanding list of original songs, many of which will be included when they produce their first CD..
